Neutrality Classes

Our Neutrality Classes are designed to teach your dog how to be calm, focused and comfortable around everyday distractions without feeling the need to interact with everything around them.
We work on engagement, lead walking, settling, holding positions, passing dogs and people appropriately, managing arousal and building confidence in real-life situations.
Rural Neutrality takes place in quieter, more open environments and is ideal for building foundations around dogs, people, wildlife and natural distractions.
Urban Neutrality takes those skills into busier environments, working around traffic, shops, cafés, tighter spaces, pedestrians and the unpredictability of everyday life.
The goal isn’t for your dog to ignore the world — it’s for them to learn how to exist calmly within it.
Neutrality Walks

Neutrality Walks are designed to help dogs learn how to coexist calmly around others without the pressure to interact. Whether your dog gets overly excited, worried, or frustrated around other dogs or people, these structured walks offer the perfect opportunity to practise neutrality in a safe and supportive environment. These walks are great for building confidence, reducing reactivity, and encouraging polite behaviour in public spaces. It’s also the perfect opportunity to meet like-minded dog owners who understand the importance of calm exposure, patience, and progress at your dog’s pace.
Halloween Class

House of K9 has teamed up with Sevyn K9 to bring you the ultimate Halloween dog training party.
Expect a fun-filled event packed with Halloween-themed games, training challenges, competitions, prizes and plenty of laughs, all while putting your dog’s skills to the test around real-life distractions.
We’ll have spooky recall races, trick-for-a-treat challenges, temptation games and a few surprise challenges along the way.
There will be prizes to be won throughout the event, plus a prize for Best Dressed, so dogs, handlers and families are all encouraged to get involved!
This is all about bringing our communities together for a fun, relaxed Halloween celebration where everyone can join in.

Scentwork Level 1: Earth (7 week course) £140.00
Every exceptional scent detection dog starts with strong foundations.
Whether you're completely new to scentwork or looking to build a stronger training foundation, this level introduces the essential skills that every successful detection team relies on.
Through carefully structured exercises, you'll develop your dog's confidence, improve communication and begin creating a clear indication on target odours.
Over the course of the programme you'll explore odour imprinting, indication training, search games and your first structured searches. More importantly, you'll begin building a partnership based on trust, understanding and teamwork—skills that will support every stage of your scentwork journey.
